Software & Cloud / How far should radio and its tools be dematerialized? ()

CLUB TDF - Conf Awards

Since its inception a century ago, radio has never undergone so many changes and technical developments. And this is obviously only the beginning. Basically, nothing should change. But in the form, everything could change. A virtualization that accelerates with tools that take up less space but weigh heavily in a strictly digital environment. The RCF network and Groupe Altice Média have taken this direction in recent years. Yohann Burgan (Director of Information Systems at RCF) will tell us what has changed and what will continue to change. . . Quentin Berthet (Senior System Engineer at NextRadioFM) will explain how it allows them to quickly deploy event web radios

Les LOCALES, le collectif de la CNRA et du SNRL, lance le relais radio de la flamme olympique ! ()

FORUM AUDIENS - LAB RADIO

SAS - Meetup

The workshop, sponsored by Xperi, focuses on demonstrating the seamless integration of metadata into radio station workflows for consistency across terrestrial and streaming platforms. It includes an introduction from Xperi, a brief video, and an overview of Xperi’s broadcast portfolio. The highlight is a DTS AutoStage presentation envisioning the future of radio in connected cars. The subsequent discussion explores the impact of metadata on content creation, discovery, and audience engagement. Technology companies like RCS and Xperi assist stations in programming and curation. The panel discusses workflow integration and audience participation, emphasizing Xperi solutions' role in providing deep audience insights. The workshop concludes with a call to simplify, connect, and innovate in radio production.

How can audio discovery be facilitated? ()

CLUB TDF - Conf Awards

Carine Fillot (Elson) receives Aurélien Hérault (Deezer), Julien M'Barki (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Benjamin Bellamy (Castapod). Starting from the fact that the audio offer has never been as important as it is today, the problem of discoverability arises naturally. Faced with this ocean of content, how do we find ourselves in it? And above all, how do you offer the right content to the right listener at the right time and in the right place? The discoverability of your content is one of the great challenges of the 21st century.

How does (hyper)local journalism connect communities in the age of overinformation? ()

FORUM AUDIENS - LAB RADIO

In the age of overinformation, can the strategy of hyper-proximity still allow to score points? How can this hyper-proximity be defined and how can it be expressed on the air? Four examples will be highlighted: France Bleu (with Matthieu Mondolini, Director of Info), Totem (with Jean-Charles Verhaeghe, Director General), CFM (with Aurélie Trévisan (journalist and national councillor at the SNRL) and Fragile Porquerolles (with Ingrid Blanchard).
