The future of African radio in the face of the influence of the international press ()

YELLOW Auditorium

AFRICAN RADIO WORKSHOP
An initiative of DIABITAL ASSOCIATION - DSNB

What exactly is the influence of international radio stations, such as Rfi, BBC, VOA, on Africa's distinctive traditional cultures?
- More specifically, will listening to the radio speed up the dissolution of traditional cultures that have already been badly affected, or, while offering an opening to the modern world, will it enable the inhabitants to become more aware of their own culture?
- So what is the future for African radio, which is already unable to compete with foreign channels for financial and material resources?
- What is the strategy of international radio?
- What is the problem with local national radio stations?
- Are the local media being subjected to the democratic game?
- Is there a lack of method or professionalism in African radio stations?
- Can we also talk about the imperialism of the international media?
- Are the major channels ready to provide assistance to radio in Africa? if not which ones?

BLUE Auditorium

A host alongside Jacques Martin or Dorothée, a star adored in Japan, she will experience highs and lows before becoming one of France's best-known voices.
Julie Bataille has just published her autobiography 'Il y a qu'une en a qu'une, c'est la brune' ('There's only one, it's the brunette') with Editions du Net.

[POD.VILLAGE] LIVE RECORDING : Podcast Soyez Sympas Rejouez by Bababam ()

POD.Village

We don't want to do the game again, we want to relive it. We don't want to miss yesterday's stars, we want to applaud them. We don't want to criticize on the spot, we want to understand and dissect. The intoxication of a victory, the magic moments. . . We want to remember all those emotions. So, be nice, play again. The team will replay the 1999 Manchester-Bayern game.
