This workshop offers a practical insight into the economic realities of radio in Africa: revenue models, public and private funding, partnerships, digitalization, and sustainability challenges. Building on the conference held at the Salon de la Radio in 2020, it aims to share real-world experiences, identify actionable pathways, and open a discussion on the levers for sustainable development for African radio stations, at the crossroads of innovation, entrepreneurship, and editorial independence.
