‘The radio landscape in Germany’
Developments in Germany since the digital transition, how regional radio stations are managing digital terrestrial radio (DAB), the impact of platforms and differences between countries.
Review of the differences between France and Germany, and between Germany and Switzerland.
Special guest: Petra Lemcke - Managing Director, Sunshine live GmbH & Co. KG
Petra Lemcke is the Managing Director of Sunshine Live, Germany's largest radio station dedicated to electronic music. She began her career in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, then at Ernst & Young, where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions in the media sector, both nationally and internationally. She then joined REGIOCAST as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, where she oversaw the acquisition of shareholdings, leading to the creation of successful radio stations such as Radio BOB and 80s80s. Subsequently, she also took on the management of investments for numerous REGIOCAST group shareholdings.
In 2016, she took over as managing director of Sunshine Live and has since been working to make it the largest electronic music platform beyond Germany's borders.
She is a member of the board of directors and the board of the Radio and Audio Services division of VAUNET.
