The A3C7 is the” Association Friendly Agents of the CCETT, Centre Commun d’Études de Télédiffusion et Télécommunications (now Orange Labs and TDF), which settled in the Rennes region in 1972 at the same time as major companies, schools and research laboratories in these fields. It strives to conserve and showcase part of the scientific heritage that has been built up over the past 50 years by linking it to widely deployed services and state-of-the-art research. Events aimed at the general public were held around the JPEG standard, smart cars and digital TV. Proud to have been a key partner in the genesis of Digital Terrestrial Radio, in preview and by “those who did it”, we give an overview of the event that the A3C7 plans to organize during the launch of the DAB in the region.
